Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a focus on creating and maintaining WordPress websites. You will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, optimizing existing functionalities, and ensuring high-performance and responsiveness of our applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills to deliver exceptional user experiences.

Duties

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements. Collaborate with designers to create responsive web designs that enhance user experience. Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and performance. Utilize version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration. Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure quality assurance throughout the development process. Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for data management. Integrate third-party APIs and web services using RESTful or SOAP protocols. Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives. Utilize tools like Trello or Jira for project management and task tracking. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.

Skills

Proficiency in WordPress development including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, or React. Knowledge of Docker for containerization and deployment processes. Familiarity with system architecture principles and DevOps practices. Understanding of database management systems including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Experience with frameworks such as Django or Ruby on Rails is a plus. Ability to create wireframes and user flows for effective UX design. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of data visualization techniques and tools. Experience in e-commerce solutions and web design principles.
