Job Description

3+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on WordPress. Proficiency in

PHP

MySQL

, and

WordPress REST API

. Solid understanding of

WordPress core architecture

, actions, and filters. Experience developing custom themes and plugins from scratch. Familiarity with

WP-CLI

Composer

Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)

, and custom post types. Strong knowledge of

version control systems (Git)

. Experience with

headless WordPress

, decoupled architectures, or static site generators is a plus. Comfortable working in

LAMP / LEMP stack

environments. Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.

Nice to Have

Experience with

JavaScript frameworks

like React, Vue, or Alpine.js. Knowledge of

GraphQL

and headless CMS approaches. Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines

, Docker, or containerized environments.
