We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

WordPress Backend Developer( 2-3 Years)

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend development, WordPress custom theme/plugin development, and API integration.

Technical Skills:

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript:

These are foundational web development languages, essential for customizing the front-end appearance and functionality of a WordPress website.

PHP:

WordPress is built with PHP, so proficiency in PHP is crucial for developing custom themes, plugins, and extending core WordPress functionality.

MySQL:

Understanding databases is helpful for managing and manipulating data within WordPress, especially when developing custom functionalities.

Version Control (Git):

Using Git for managing code, tracking changes, and collaborating on projects is essential for efficient development.

WordPress Coding Standards:

Adhering to WordPress's coding standards ensures maintainability, readability, and compatibility of code.

Understanding WordPress Architecture:

A strong understanding of how WordPress works, including its template hierarchy, functions, and hooks, is vital for effective customization.

Plugin Development:

Creating custom plugins to extend WordPress functionality or integrate with external systems is a valuable skill.

Theme Development:

Developing entire custom WordPress themes from scratch allows for complete control over the website's design and structure.

SEO:

Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles is important for ensuring that the website is visible to search engines.

WooCommerce Development:

For e-commerce websites, expertise in WooCommerce, WordPress's popular e-commerce plugin, is crucial.

Headless WordPress:

Understanding and developing with Headless WordPress, where the backend is separate from the frontend, is becoming increasingly relevant.
Design and User Experience (UX) Skills:
