WordPress Developer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience
to develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins
Convert UI designs (PSD/Figma/XD) into responsive WordPress pages
Customize existing themes and plugins as per project requirements
Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness
Fix bugs, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates
Integrate third-party plugins and APIs
Optimize websites for SEO and loading speed
Coordinate with designers, content teams, and project managers
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum
1 year experience
in WordPress development
Strong knowledge of
WordPress CMS
, theme & plugin customization
Proficiency in
PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience with
page builders
like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi
Understanding of
responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Basic knowledge of
MySQL
and database management
Familiarity with
Git/version control
is a plus
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with
WooCommerce
Knowledge of
SEO best practices
Experience with website migration and hosting (cPanel, FTP)
Understanding of website security and backups
Education
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
Relevant experience and portfolio can substitute formal education
