WordPress & PHP Developer
who can design, develop, and maintain world-class websites.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced WordPress & PHP Developer with strong skills in
web design
,
theme customization
,
plugin implementation
, and
front-end development
.
Ideal for someone who enjoys creating beautiful UI/UX, solving problems, and working with modern tools like Elementor, Divi, custom themes, and WooCommerce.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, customizations).
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress layouts.
Customize themes using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and page builders.
Build and modify WordPress plugins as needed.
Set up WooCommerce stores, payment gateways, product templates, and checkout flows.
Optimize page speed, SEO structure, and overall website performance.
Troubleshoot website issues, debug PHP errors, and fix UI inconsistencies.
Collaborate with design and content teams for delivering complete websites.
Maintain website security, backups, and updates.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong WordPress development experience (3+ years preferred).
Excellent PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, Bootstrap 5, Tailwind CSS and JavaScript knowledge.
Experience with page builders:
Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, Gutenburg
.
Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX.
Ability to customize and extend themes/plugins using PHP.
Familiarity with Git, cPanel, hosting, DNS, and migrations.
Experience with WooCommerce setup and customization.
Intermediate knowledge of SEO best practices.
Good to Have
Experience building custom plugins.
Knowledge of API integrations.
Exposure to Figma/Adobe XD for design implementation.
Understanding of security hardening and website optimization.
