Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. Customize pre-built WordPress themes to meet client needs and project requirements. Collaborate with design and content teams to implement front-end elements using WordPress best practices. Optimize WordPress sites for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress-related issues in a timely manner. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for WordPress websites. Ensure the technical SEO and site performance standards are followed. Manage and maintain existing WordPress sites, including regular updates, bug fixes, and security patches. Test and troubleshoot cross-browser compatibility issues and resolve them efficiently. Stay updated with the latest trends in WordPress development, web design, and development technologies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role. Strong proficiency in WordPress, HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL. Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery) and frameworks (e.g., Genesis, Divi). Knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and customization. Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery). Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility. Familiarity with website hosting environments and management (e.g., cPanel, FTP, SFTP). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus. Knowledge of website optimization and performance tools (e.g., Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix). Basic understanding of SEO best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce. Experience with API integrations and third-party services. Experience with multisite WordPress networks.
