Job Overview

Widepool is seeking a talented

Website Developer

to design, build, and optimize websites with a strong focus on

WordPress development, SEO-friendly coding, technical performance, and UX/UI improvements

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in web development and a solid understanding of technical SEO.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize WordPress themes and websites; manage sites on Wix and other CMS platforms. Implement SEO best practices including clean code, fast load speeds, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup. Conduct website audits, identify issues, and resolve technical SEO errors. Collaborate with the SEO team to integrate content updates and on-site strategies. Perform regular website maintenance including plugin updates, backups, and security checks.

Requirements

Minimum

2 years of experience

in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Knowledge of Wix and other CMS platforms. Strong understanding of

technical SEO

and

Core Web Vitals

. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Web Design, Computer Science, or related field.

Education

UG:

BCA in Computers, B.Tech/B.E. in Computers or Any Specialization

PG:

M.Tech in Computers / Any Specialization, MCA in Computers
