Key Responsibilities: WordPress Development: Build and customise WordPress websites, themes, and plugins using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Theme Customisation: Modify and customise existing WordPress themes to meet project requirements while ensuring a consistent and visually appealing design. Content Management: Update and maintain website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements. Performance Optimisation: Optimie websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices. Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues, ensuring websites function flawlessly. Security: Implement security best practices to protect websites and user data from vulnerabilities. Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to ensure websites meet project goals and brand guidelines. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role. Proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development. Strong skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript. Familiarity with responsive web design and mobile optimizsation. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
