We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic WordPress Developer Intern with hands-on interest in frontend technologies and a basic understanding of backend development. This internship is ideal for candidates who want real-world experience in building, customizing, and optimizing WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and modern development practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites
Work on frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive WordPress pages
Upload, format, and manage website content (blogs, pages, images)
Implement basic on-page SEO and SEO plugins
Ensure website responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and performance
Update and maintain WordPress core, themes, and plugins
Troubleshoot and resolve basic frontend and backend issues
Collaborate with design, backend, and marketing teams
Required Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress CMS
Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Basic knowledge of PHP
Understanding of WordPress themes and plugins
Familiarity with responsive design principles
Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly
Basic understanding of SEO concepts
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery
Basic knowledge of backend concepts (databases, MySQL, APIs)
Exposure to WooCommerce
Understanding of website speed optimization techniques
Awareness of basic website security practices
