Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and creative

WordPress Web Designer

to join our remote team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong eye for design, hands-on experience with WordPress (especially Elementor), and a passion for building modern, responsive websites.

As a WordPress Web Designer, you'll be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that are optimized for performance, speed, and SEO. You'll work closely with developers and content teams to bring designs to life and ensure an excellent user experience across devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop responsive websites using

WordPress

and

Elementor

. Customize WordPress themes and templates to match project requirements. Work with

WooCommerce

to create and manage e-commerce websites. Ensure websites are optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO. Collaborate with the development and content teams to implement design elements. Maintain and update existing WordPress websites when needed. Troubleshoot and fix design-related issues or bugs.

Required Skills & Experience:

Proficiency in

WordPress

(especially custom themes and Elementor builder) Hands-on experience with

WooCommerce

(setup, customization, product management) Strong knowledge of

HTML, CSS

, and

Bootstrap

for responsive design Basic understanding of

PHP

for WordPress customizations Experience with

Shopify

(theme editing & basic customization) Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and responsive design standards Attention to detail and ability to follow design briefs accurately

Preferred / Bonus Skills:

JavaScript / jQuery basics UI/UX design tools like

Figma

or

Adobe XD

SEO knowledge (on-page optimization, speed optimization)
