Required Skills

Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins. Integrate third-party APIs and services (payment gateways, CRMs, social platforms, email tools). Optimize websites for speed, performance, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. Implement security best practices, including vulnerability assessments and WordPress hardening. Manage cloud hosting (AWS, Azure) and traditional hosting servers (cPanel/WHM), ensuring backups, security, and monitoring. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following WordPress coding standards. Develop custom post types, taxonomies, and advanced custom field structures for complex requirements. Implement caching, compression, and optimization techniques for performance improvements. Use Git for version control, staging, and deployment workflows. Collaborate with designers and team members to build intuitive, accessible user interfaces. Debug and resolve issues in development and production environments.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven WordPress development experience with strong PHP back-end skills. Expertise in WordPress architecture, hooks, actions, filters, WP_Query, custom post types, and taxonomies. Experience with ACF, Gutenberg, Elementor, or WPBakery page builders. Strong understanding of website architecture, design principles, and performance optimization. Skilled in RESTful API integration, AJAX, and JSON/XML-based functionalities. Experience designing, querying, and optimizing MySQL databases for WordPress sites. Hands-on experience with WP-CLI and Composer in development workflows. Knowledge of caching (object, page), compression, and optimization techniques. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment. Attention to detail and ability to manage timelines and deliver quality projects consistently. Good communication skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
