Desert Crafts, a Jaipur-based manufacturer of women\'s wear is looking for Merchandisers in Jaipur. Candidates with merchandising and production related experience in western women\'s wear may apply. Roles and Responsibilities : Will be responsible for sampling and product development Will be responsible for costing Keeping track of past orders and consumptions for future references. Maintaining TNA and challans. Taking account of the fabrics and trims. Ordering Fabrics and trims. Co-ordinate with the production manager Prepare costing estimates Co -ordination between the departments for smooth functioning Co-ordinating with vendors. Desired Candidate Profile: Proficient in excel, word, Power point and other useful tools Should be proficient in English spoken and written Disciplined, hardworking, honest and organized Should have problem solving skills Should be able to manage masters and sample men Should come from a reputed fashion/ management school Should have worked with reputed fashion/ export houses. Should have proper knowledge of woven and knitted fabrics, prints, Lab test FPT and GPT, Material handling etc. Should have worked in women\'s western wear and Indian wear Should have knowledge of embroidery and printing Note: Candidates living in Jaipur will be given preference.
