Product Design Engineer- Wiring Harness Passenger Cars


Educational Qualifications


Engineering Graduate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Post Graduate in Design/Electrical/Wiring Harness


Skill Requirements

3-6 years of overall industry experience 2-4 years of relevant experience in Wiring Harness Design & Development Understanding of functioning of various control systems, ECUs, Electrical- Electronic functions inside the Passenger cars. Technical expertise in Wiring Harness design, Connector, electrification, DMU, packaging, and related Engineering requirements. Know how of vehicle Schematics development. Basic Understanding of Product development process & Project timelines

Experience of handling field issues, idea generation & problem solving. Strong inter-personal skills to work effectively with Suppliers & cross functional teams across the globe. Strong in technical Decision-making. Awareness of future technological advancement in Wiring Harness development such as Battery, High Voltage will be an added advantage. German language skills & global project experience is an added advantage Experience of working on MB norms, standards & processes will be an added advantage Additional Advantage: CAD Tool: Unigraphics NX, Ldorado, E3-Cable, PREEVision Awareness of PLM systems.
