Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in buildings and industrial facilities. Troubleshoot issues in existing electrical systems and implement effective repair solutions. Install or repair wires and cables to provide power to buildings, machinery, and equipment. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project teams to plan electrical layouts and system designs. Install electrical devices such as panels, light fixtures, switches, thermostats, smoke detectors, intercoms, and other control systems. Set up electrical equipment in commercial and industrial environments, including security systems, telephone lines, and computers. Diagnose and repair electrical equipment such as motors, generators, breakers, transformers, wiring, and circuit boards. Conduct testing to ensure all electrical systems and equipment function correctly after installation or repair. Inspect electrical systems and components for safety, defects, and compliance with codes, while maintaining accurate records of findings and work performed.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience as a Wireman, Electrician, or in a similar electrical role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics. Skilled in using electrical tools, testing devices, and repair equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail, accuracy, and safety awareness. Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects. Relevant technical training, certification, or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Work Environment

On-site work at residential, commercial, or industrial locations. May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or in varying weather conditions. Requires adherence to strict safety protocols and compliance with electrical codes.
