Job Summary

The Wireman is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring systems in industrial, commercial, and residential facilities. The role requires adherence to safety standards and ensuring reliable electrical connections and power distribution.

Key Responsibilities

Install and route electrical wiring, conduits, cables, and trunking as per drawings Perform wiring of panels, switchboards, distribution boards, sockets, and lighting systems Identify and rectify faults such as short circuits, loose connections, and power failures Test electrical installations using appropriate testing instruments Ensure proper earthing and grounding of electrical systems Follow electrical safety rules, codes, and PPE requirements Assist electricians and supervisors during installation and maintenance activities Maintain tools, equipment, and housekeeping at the worksite
Skills & Knowledge Required

Good knowledge of electrical wiring systems and color codes Ability to read basic electrical drawings and layouts Experience in conduit bending, cable dressing, and termination Familiarity with electrical tools and testing instruments Knowledge of electrical safety practices and standards
Qualifications

Diploma/ITI Certificate in Wireman / Electrical (Mandatory)
Experience

Fresher or 1-2 years of relevant experience
