Job Description

Set up and operate wire drawing machines to draw metal rods into wires of specified gauges and dimensions. Monitor the wire drawing process and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect wires for surface defects, consistency, and diameter using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to prevent downtime. Replace dies, lubricate machinery, and ensure the drawing process is running smoothly. Load and unload raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently. Record production data, machine performance, and any issues encountered during shifts. Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with quality control and maintenance teams to ensure product standards are met.
