1. Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Wire Cut Operator, CNC Operator, and VMC Operator

with strong technical skills in precision machining, programming, and component finishing. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of

5 years of hands-on experience

in operating, setting, and maintaining machining equipment used in the tool-room and manufacturing industry.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesWire Cut Operator

Operate and set up

EDM Wire Cut machines

(e.g., Makino, Sodick, Electronica, etc.). Read and interpret

engineering drawings, GD&T, and tool designs

. Prepare workpieces, set work offsets, and maintain machining accuracy within micro tolerances. Perform threading, cutting, taper cutting, and multiple passes for high precision components. Monitor machining process and adjust parameters for optimum output. Ensure surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and final quality standards. Maintain machine, consumables, and daily logbook.

CNC/VMC Operator

Operate and set up

CNC Milling and VMC machines

independently. Load programs, set tools, create offsets, and run production as per specifications. Basic knowledge of

programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls)

preferred. Check dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc. Make minor program edits to improve accuracy and cycle time. Troubleshoot common machining issues--tool breakage, vibration, finish problems, offsets. Maintain tool life and perform preventive maintenance.

3. Required Skills

Strong understanding of machining processes, speeds, feeds & tool selection. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models. Knowledge of materials--MS, SS, Tool Steel, Aluminum, Copper, etc. Good knowledge of measuring instruments and quality standards. Basic computer and production reporting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

4. Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Tool & Die Making, Machining, or related field. Minimum

5 years of hands-on experience

in Wire Cut / CNC / VMC operations. Experience in precision tool room or manufacturing industry preferred.

5. Personal Attributes

Attention to detail and high accuracy. Disciplined, punctual, and process-oriented. Ability to work in shifts and meet production timelines. Team player with good communication skills.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
