Key Responsibilities:

Incident & Problem Management:

Provide Tier 2 support for complex server issues, performing deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA).

Virtualization Management:

Provision, monitor, and troubleshoot virtual machines (VMs) primarily on

VMware vSphere

or

Microsoft Hyper-V

platforms.

Patch & Vulnerability Management:

Oversee automated patching cycles using tools like WSUS or SCCM/MECM and perform OS hardening.

Server Lifecycle Management:

Execute server builds, upgrades (e.g., migrating to Windows Server 2022), and decommissioning of legacy systems.

Backup & Disaster Recovery:

Monitor backup jobs (using tools like Veeam or Commvault) and perform routine restoration tests to ensure data integrity.

Required Technical Skills:

OS Expertise:

Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2019, and

2022

.

Automation:

Proficiency in

PowerShell scripting

for automating routine administrative tasks.

Monitoring Tools:

Experience with enterprise tools such as Site24, ITOM, SCOM, SolarWinds, or PRTG.

ITSM:

Experience of ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Manage Engine, BMC, HP Openview for managing SLAs and change requests.

Pay: ?400,000.00 - ?550,000.00 per year
