Must-HaveExperience with installing, configuring, and managing VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V hosts.Experience with vCenter Server Appliance 6.x7.xExperience with deploying and managing virtual machines.Experience with VMware High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), and Fault Tolerance (FT)Good Exposure on Nutanix LCM, AOS Upgrades and VMWare Esxi Upgrades.Good Knowledge on Microsoft Windows Server Operating systems tools such as SCOM, SCCM SCVMM, vROPS, Nutanix LEAP, Nutanix CALM, Nutanix Prism Central.Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.Good-to-HaveExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNutanix LCM, AOS Upgrades and VMWareSNResponsibility of Expectations from the Role Provide VMware support including incident and work requests within the virtualization infrastructure spanning multiple data centers, across multiple VMWare ESX Nutanix environments.Maintain enterprise servers and perform hardware and software maintenance operations including installation, configuration and support of server hardware, software and data backup and disaster recovery.Troubleshooting problems with hardware and software, including responding to support requests from users.Managing the virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix.Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.Monitoring server performance to identify problems and improve performance.Monitor virtualization infrastructure and provide advice on capacity requirements.Installing, upgrading, and managing the Windows servers across the environment.Good knowledge on DNS, DHCP, Certificate services. Good knowledge on Hardware replacement in Nutanix Hosts such as SATA DOM, DIMM Node.Troubleshooting and break-fix of issues in WindowsHealth check of Windows environmentResponsible for applying security patches to windows servers using SCCM tools.Analyze server logs provide root cause analysis during Major incidents.
