Should have at least 1.5 years of experience in Windows System Administration, IIS Server Administration & Apache/HA Proxy.
Should have good understanding of 3 tier application architecture with proxy configuration
Extensive knowledge and understanding on network devices such as F5 Load Balancer, Firewalls, DNS, etc.
A Minimum of 2 years of experience in automating the server/IIS builds & configurations using Windows scripting, PowerShell, etc.
Responsibility
Responsible to migrate enterprise level Windows/IIS based applications from legacy Windows servers to latest Windows 2019 servers in a fast paced environment
Support issues related to Windows middleware components such as IIS setup, applications pools creations on Windows platform, IIS/ App Pool recycles, CPU/ disk space issues, service alerts, logs mining, logs archiving, SSL certificates installation, etc.
Provide Tier III administrative and support per project needs; investigate and troubleshoot issues; perform regular log analysis, security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
Installation of SSL certificates, domain registration, creation of VIPs on F5 load balancers & iRules (if needed) on to migrated websites
Ensure to have zero security vulnerabilities in the systems whether servers or applications. If any are reported, facilitate quick remediation basis this associated risk / severity
Candidate must be flexible in terms of working hours due to the nature of the role
Candidate should be process oriented with good understanding of Incident and Change Management Processes
Establish and maintain regular written or verbal communication with the stake holders regarding project updates
Candidate should have analytical approach to issue troubleshooting and be resourceful in the times of heavy workload
Weekend work and extended days to support organized changes or incidents may be required \xe2\x80\x93 but through prior agreement
Good to Have
Experience with application and severs monitoring tools e.g. \xe2\x80\x93 AlertSite, App Dynamics, Splunk, etc.
