About the position: This job posting is for a software engineer for a mid to senior level position at client end. The position is for WFO. We would prefer candidates who are in Chennai. This is a Senior-level Position requiring excellent technical skills as well as excellent Soft Skills. The ability to professionally communicate with clients and peers is just as important as the technical skills required in this role. The ability to multi-task with excellent Time Management is a core requirement. Proactiveness and Accountability are keys to operational excellence and the same will be expected from the successful candidate. Strong competencies in Windows SA troubleshooting, configuration, support and setup, backup/recovery, and related tasks. Resource needs a solid understanding of environments and other technologies commonly found in the architecture of larger enterprise-class environments. \'Can do\' attitude is critical as well as the ability to be flexible, level-headed under pressure, strong teamwork sensibilities, and a general all-around hard worker. 8+ years of Experience in Windows Server administration and support Roles and Responsibilities: Install, configure, and manage Windows servers, including Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019 and latest. Strong proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2012, 2016, 2019). Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS. Experience with server virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware). Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions 24x7 uptime of IT services to support round the clock business requirement Work on Change Management and configuration as per customer requirement Provide support for developers and business users requests and queries Application Response, Monitoring and Triaging, Application Operations Support and Procedural Recovery Troubleshoot Active Directory-related issues and perform account management tasks Security and Patch Management: Ensure server security by implementing and maintaining appropriate security measures Apply security patches, updates, and service packs in a timely manner Experience in Batch Scripting and PowerShell Troubleshoot .net framework and configuration
