What\'s this role about?

OS AND VIRTUALISATION & HARDWARE PLATFORM

\xc2\xb7 8+ years of supporting Windows Server environments/Active Directory/Virtualization

\xc2\xb7 Looking for a Senior System Administrator, skilled in Citrix and/or VMware Horizon, support of Virtual Desktops, Streaming Applications, Windows Server, and Desktop OS. Dell hardware support for servers and Dell Storage products. Must have good customer support skills and proactive and creative mindset. Work is presently on-site, no remote work policy.

\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of VMWARE, GPO, AD, Windows platforms, including the architecture, design, administration, and management of a distributed systems environment

\xc2\xb7 Proven abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent organizational and time management skills.

\xc2\xb7 Analyzing, designing, and implementing new technologies for applications within the onsite environment and Azure

\xc2\xb7 PowerShell scripting skills

\xc2\xb7 Communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.

\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of compliance and security around desktop, servers, and Azure to implement best practices

\xc2\xb7 Developing and promoting standard operations documentation such as procedures, checklists, Knowledge Base Articles, and user instructions

\xc2\xb7 Identify security risks to our environment, and suggest mitigation solutions

\xc2\xb7 Partner with InfoSec to strengthen system management

\xc2\xb7 Participate in on-call and incident resolution

\xc2\xb7 Keeping systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs

\xc2\xb7 Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system Meeting Quality objectives and standards

\xc2\xb7 A willingness to develop new skills and to understand new technology

\xc2\xb7 Vulnerability Management

Educational requirement:

\xc2\xb7 Graduate and preferably BCA or any other Technical Field.

\xc2\xb7 Certification is added benefit

\xc2\xb7 Excellent Communication Skills (Written/Verbal)
