Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Windows PowerShell Instructor

to be a part of a team deliverering a comprehensive training course covering advanced scripting, automation, system administration, and cloud resource management with PowerShell. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure, along with proven experience in designing and delivering instructor-led training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions on PowerShell concepts, syntax, and real-world applications. Provide hands-on lab-based instruction in a structured environment. Equip learners with the skills to manage local and remote systems, Azure, and Microsoft 365 services via PowerShell. Provide step-by-step guidance for writing, debugging, and executing PowerShell scripts. Support learners in performing system administration tasks using PowerShell cmdlets, pipeline, CIM/WMI, and scripting techniques. Facilitate practice lab sessions covering all required modules.

Course Objectives:

The training course will comprehensively cover (but is not limited to) the following topics:

PowerShell Core Skills:

Command syntax, help system, and script execution Use of pipeline for object manipulation (select, sort, filter, enumerate, measure) Variables, arrays, hash tables, scripting constructs Functions, modules, and error handling Creating, managing, and scheduling background jobs

System Administration:

Managing local systems and Windows Server settings Active Directory Domain Services management Network services configuration with PowerShell

PowerShell for Remote and Cloud Management:

PowerShell remoting (single/multiple machines, sessions, advanced techniques) Azure PowerShell module and Cloud Shell Managing Azure resources Administering Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams)

Practice Lab Modules to be Delivered:

Configuring and running PowerShell commands Local system administration PowerShell pipeline utilization PSProviders and PSDrives CIM and WMI data querying and manipulation Script writing with variables, arrays, and hash tables Remote administration tasks Azure resource management Microsoft 365 integration and automation Background and scheduled job management

Requirements:

Proven experience in Windows PowerShell (advanced scripting and administration) Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory, Azure, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint Experience conducting technical training or corporate workshops (classroom or virtual) Strong communication and presentation skills Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: PowerShell, MCSA, AZ-104, etc.) are preferred
