Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct morning and evening nature trails for guests.

2. Explain flora, fauna, bird species, insects, trees, and the local ecosystem.

3. Ensure guest safety during trails and outdoor activities.

4. Interact with guests and provide insights into biodiversity.

5. Conduct storytelling sessions, stargazing, birdwatching, or campfire knowledge

sharing.

6. Maintain knowledge about local wildlife, conservation practices, and regional

geography.

7. Coordinate with the front office for guest schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, Forestry, Zoology, or

related field.

2. Fresher or Experience of 1-2 years in nature guiding or eco-tourism.

3. Passion for nature, wildlife, forests, and environmental studies.

4. Enthusiastic personality and good communication skills.

5. Basic knowledge of local flora, fauna, and geography (training will be provided for

freshers).

6. Physically fit to conduct trails and outdoor activities.

7. Ability to handle guests politely and professionally.

8. Should be an immediate joiner and willing to work at Chikmagalur.
