Your Role

As a WLAN Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and testing Wi-Fi software features for gateway and extender products. You will work on advanced technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and test Wi-Fi software features for Wi-Fi gateway/extender products. Work on development of new Wi-Fi features on the PrplOS platform. Provide technical assistance to other teams to troubleshoot customer Wi-Fi issues.

Your Profile

Strong understanding of IEEE802.11 / Wi-Fi protocol versions (4, 5, 6, and 7) and Wi-Fi Management Systems (EasyMesh, AirTies, OpenSync, etc.). Strong knowledge of Linux Operating Systems and PrplOS platform. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP internals and common network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP. Exposure to Wi-Fi certification process. Hands-on experience in C/C++ programming and shell scripting. Knowledge of source version control tools like Git, GitHub, etc. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
