Train students in
music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, scales, and chords

Conduct classes in
vocal techniques, choir training, and ensemble performances

Provide instrumental training (e.g.,
Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, Violin, or other Western instruments
).
Prepare lesson plans in line with school curriculum and cultural programs.
Organize and guide students for
school choir, band, and inter-school competitions
.
Prepare students for stage performances, concerts, assemblies, and annual day functions.
Collaborate with the
dance and drama departments
for integrated performing arts presentations.
Conduct
music clubs and practice sessions
to encourage student participation.
Maintain instruments, ensure proper usage, and promote discipline in the classroom.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in
Western vocal techniques
(solo & choir) and at least one
Western instrument
(Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, etc.).
Strong knowledge of
Western music theory, staff notation, scales, and harmony
.
Excellent
classroom management and communication skills
.
Ability to inspire and mentor students with diverse musical abilities.
Creativity in developing group and solo performances.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's/Master's degree/diploma in
Western Music (Vocal/Instrumental)
from a recognized institution.
Experience in teaching school students/choir/band preferred.
Freshers with proven musical expertise and performance experience may also apply.
Remuneration:
Salary as per school norms and candidate's experience
