Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Training



Teach Western music (vocal or instrumental: piano, guitar, drums, violin, etc.). Develop structured lesson plans for beginners to advanced learners. Conduct individual and group classes. Train students for school events, competitions, and certification exams (e.g., Trinity, ABRSM). Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Curriculum & Content Development



Prepare music pieces, exercises, sight-reading, and theory lessons. Introduce students to Western genres (Classical, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Rock). Update teaching methods with modern music trends.

Performance & Event Support



Arrange recitals, musical events, and talent showcases. Assist with choir/band formation and rehearsals. Support stage performances, sound setup, and coordination.

Administration & Coordination



Maintain attendance, progress reports, and exam records. Communicate with parents/students about performance and goals. Work with school/academy management to improve music programs.

Required Qualifications



Diploma/Degree in Western Music or equivalent certification. Proficiency in chosen instrument or vocal genre. Knowledge of music theory, sight-reading, and composition basics. Minimum 1 year teaching or performing experience (flexible).

Preferred Skills



Ability to teach multiple instruments is a bonus. Basic music production or audio editing knowledge. Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
