: Plan, organize, and execute various welfare programs and activities within the factory premises and hostel to promote a healthy and supportive work environment.
Interact with Migrant Workers
: Build rapport with migrant workers, understanding their unique challenges and needs, and facilitating their integration into the workplace and local community.
Employee Assistance
: Provide assistance and support to employees facing personal or professional difficulties, including counseling services, guidance, and referrals to relevant resources.
Health and Safety
: Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting awareness and safe practices among workers.
Hostel Management
: Oversee the maintenance and management of the workers' hostel, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
Complaint Resolution
: Address grievances and disputes among employees promptly and effectively, maintaining harmonious industrial relations.
Documentation
: Maintain accurate records of welfare activities, complaints, and assistance provided to employees, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Training
: Organize workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs related to employee welfare, health, and safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
:
Fluent in Hindi, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in an additional language will be an added advantage.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry or with a focus on migrant workers is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with employees.
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to worker welfare in India & Tamilnadu.
