dedicated Welfare Incharge
to lead and manage all staff welfare-related activities at our operational units.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Accommodation & Facility Management
Oversee allocation and maintenance of staff quarters, guest houses, and shared accommodations.
Ensure rooms are clean, hygienic, and in good condition at all times.
Coordinate repairs, plumbing, electrical, and furniture-related issues as needed.
Mess & Food Management
Manage daily operations of the employee mess and canteen facilities.
Supervise menu planning, food quality, quantity, hygiene, and timings.
Coordinate with cooks and kitchen staff to ensure timely and nutritious meals.
Handle any food complaints and resolve issues efficiently.
Cook & Kitchen Staff Supervision
Appoint and manage cooks, helpers, and other kitchen staff.
Monitor their attendance, work hours, hygiene standards, and performance.
Housekeeping & Cleaning
Ensure all staff premises (residential and office areas) are regularly cleaned and maintained.
Supervise housekeeping staff and assign daily duties.
Ensure availability and usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Inventory & Procurement
Maintain stock of groceries, kitchen essentials, gas cylinders, cleaning items, and housekeeping materials.
Raise indents and coordinate with the procurement department for timely supply.
Keep proper records of consumption and usage.
Employee Welfare & Coordination
Be the single point of contact for all staff welfare and facility-related concerns.
Interact with employees regularly to understand and address their living and food needs.
Organize welfare activities, health checkups, or awareness drives as per company plans.
Vendor & Contractor Management
Liaise with local vendors for housekeeping, cleaning services, mess supplies, or maintenance.
Ensure contracts, services, and deliveries meet company standards and timelines.
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain registers, reports, and daily records related to accommodation, mess usage, and housekeeping.
Share periodic reports with HR/Admin/Management.
Ensure all safety, hygiene, and compliance norms are followed as per company policies.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates with experience in
hostel/mess/housekeeping management
, preferably in
mining, construction, or industrial
environments.
Good organizational and people management skills.
Willingness to work across plant locations and attend to urgent welfare needs at any time.
Must be sincere, proactive, and service-minded.
