FarmRobo Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Welding Supervisor with 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment. The role involves supervising welding operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and accurately interpreting engineering drawings to meet production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day welding and fabrication activities.
Assign work to welders as per production schedules.
Read, interpret, and implement mechanical and fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
Ensure welding processes meet required quality standards and drawings.
Monitor weld quality and assist in resolving defects or rework issues.
Ensure strict adherence to safety norms, PPE usage, and shop-floor discipline.
Coordinate with Quality and Production teams for inspections and approvals.
Maintain records related to welding activities, manpower, and production.
Support continuous improvement in welding productivity and quality.
Guide and support welders to improve skills and workmanship.
Required Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Basic knowledge of welding procedures and standards.
Welding-related certification will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum
1 year of experience
in welding supervision or as a senior welder in a manufacturing setup.
Hands-on experience with welding processes such as MIG, TIG, or Arc welding.
Experience in reading and understanding manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and welding symbols.
Knowledge of manufacturing quality and safety practices.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Working Conditions
Manufacturing shop-floor environment.
Willingness to work shifts or extended hours as required.
