Role Description

This is a Junior position. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated

Welder

to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing various equipment and systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The

Welder

will play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring that all repairs are carried out to the highest standards.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to identify potential issues. Perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems as needed. Troubleshoot problems effectively and implement solutions in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks. Keep work areas clean and organised, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Experience

Proven experience in repair work or a related field is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between sites.
