We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of welding tasks including MIG Flux-Cored Arc, and Gas (Oxy-acetylene) welding, ensuring high-quality fabrication and assembly of metal components based on engineering drawings and blueprints. This role requires a strong understanding of welding equipment, materials, and safety standards, along with excellent physical endurance and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding using various methods such as MIG, Flux-Cored Arc, and Oxy-Acetylene techniques on a variety of metals and alloys. Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure precision in fabrication. Set up, operate, and maintain welding machines and related equipment safely and efficiently. Measure, cut, and join materials with accuracy to fabricate components and assemblies. Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment following health and safety regulations. Troubleshoot welding defects and perform repairs or rework as needed to ensure finished products meet standards. Demonstrate strong material knowledge, including properties of metals and suitability for different welding techniques. Collaborate with fabrication teams and supervisors to ensure timely project completion. Monitor equipment performance and report any malfunctions or required maintenance. Exhibit excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Possess the physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in varying conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting. Proficiency in MIG, Stick and Gas Welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of metal types, characteristics, and welding compatibility. Familiarity with operating and maintaining cutting torches, grinders, and other fabrication tools. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. High level of manual dexterity, coordination, and physical fitness.

Preferred Qualifications:

Trade certification or diploma in fabrication, mechanical fitting, or a related field. Experience in metal fabrication, mechanical assembly, or a similar industrial environment. Basic welding experience (MIG, TIG, or Stick). Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.
