Job Description

Interpreting Technical Documents:Understand and follow the CAD drawings, and 3D models to understand project requirements and panel specifications. Fabrication and Assembly:Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using hand and power tools and specialized machinery to create the panel's structural and mechanical parts. Welding and Fixing: Utilize various welding techniques (like MIG or TIG) and other methods to join components, and skillfully fix or troubleshoot any issues with the fabricated parts. Quality Control: Inspect components to ensure they are the correct size, shape, and thickness according to the specifications. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine checks, maintenance, and repairs on equipment and machinery used in panel building to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, production crews and sub vendors to coordinate efforts, ensure project completion, and optimize efficiency. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all company safety protocols, industry standards, and health regulations at all times to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Skills and Qualifications

Technical Aptitude: Excellent mechanical and technical skills with the ability to operate various tools and welding equipment. Reading Comprehension: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of mechanical or structural issues and implement effective solutions. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure precision in measurements and assembly. Teamwork and Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
