Job Overview

We are hiring

Welder / Fitter - Factory Maintenance

to support

routine maintenance, breakdown repairs, fabrication, and installation work

at our manufacturing plant.

This role is suitable for

freshers and experienced candidates (up to 5 years)

with basic welding and fitting skills who are willing to work in an industrial factory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out

welding and fitting works

for plant machinery and structures Perform

arc welding / gas welding / basic fabrication work

Assist in

repair and maintenance of conveyors, chutes, frames, hoppers, platforms, ducts, and piping

Support

breakdown maintenance

under the guidance of maintenance engineers Cut, grind, drill, and assemble metal components as required Assist in

installation and alignment of equipment

Follow

safety procedures

, PPE usage, and housekeeping standards Maintain tools and welding equipment in good condition Support preventive maintenance and shutdown activities

Requirements

Experience:

Fresher to 5 years

in welding / fitting / mechanical maintenance

Qualification:

ITI Welder / ITI Fitter / NCVT / SCVT preferred

Skills:

Basic welding knowledge (ARC welding mandatory) Ability to use hand tools, grinders, cutting machines Basic understanding of mechanical drawings (preferred)

Physical Requirement:

Fit to work in factory conditions

Location:

Must be willing to work at

Ponnapuram (Dharapuram Taluk)

Shift & Work Conditions

Day shift / Shift duty (as per factory requirement) Factory maintenance environment Overtime may be required during shutdowns or breakdowns

Salary & Benefits

Salary:

?15,000 to ?25,000 per month

(based on experience & skill) Overtime wages as per company policy PF & ESI benefits On-the-job training for freshers Long-term employment opportunity in a growing factory
