Job Description

The Welder will be responsible for cutting, fitting, and welding various metal components to construct or repair metal structures, machinery, and equipment. The role involves working with a variety of tools and welding equipment while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Job description:

Perform welding operations using methods such as MIG, TIG, arc, and gas welding. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements. Cut and shape metal components as required. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools. Conduct regular inspections and ensure tools are in safe working condition. Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Make adjustments or repairs as needed to achieve desired results. Follow all workplace safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Identify potential hazards and take corrective action to maintain a safe working environment. Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to complete tasks efficiently. Communicate progress and any issues encountered during the welding process.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.). Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of metallurgy and materials science. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

ITI/Diploma/B.E any specialisation. 4+ years of experience in Welder
