Job Description

Reading and Interpreting Drawings

: Understand and apply blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to plan work and understand specifications.

Metal Preparation

: Clean, prepare, and mark out metal materials from drawings.

Cutting and Shaping

: Use gas cutting and other equipment to cut metal to the correct size and shape for assembly.

Welding and Assembly

: Join metal parts together using various welding techniques and equipment to form structures or products.

Quality Assurance

: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.

Tool and Equipment Maintenance

: Maintain welding machines, hand tools, and power tools to ensure they are in good working order.

Safety Compliance

: Adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines to create a safe working environment.

Team Collaboration

: Work with other team members to prioritize work and complete projects efficiently.
