Welder Cum Fabricator

Job Summary

The Welder Cum Fabricator is responsible for carrying out welding, fabrication, and metal repair works across the resort. The role ensures that all structural, maintenance, and fabrication tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards, supporting smooth resort operations and upkeep of facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform welding and fabrication work as per drawings, specifications, and instructions. Carry out repair and maintenance of metal structures, railings, gates, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Fabricate and install steel, iron, and other metal components as required for resort operations. Operate welding machines and fabrication tools safely and efficiently. Ensure accuracy in measurements, cutting, grinding, and fitting of materials. Conduct routine inspection of welded and fabricated items to ensure strength and quality. Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and work areas. Assist in preventive maintenance and emergency repair works when required. Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for timely completion of tasks. Minimize material wastage and report defects or material shortages. Comply with resort SOPs, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills

ITI / Certificate in Welding, Fabrication, or a related trade preferred. 2-4 years of experience as a Welder Cum Fabricator, preferably in hospitality, resort, or industrial environments. Good knowledge of arc welding, gas welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication techniques. Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements. Understanding of workplace safety and equipment handling. Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and on-site conditions. Team player with a responsible and flexible attitude. Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Skills

Experience in resort, hotel, or facility maintenance projects. Knowledge of stainless steel and decorative metal fabrication. Basic knowledge of plumbing or mechanical maintenance is an added advantage. Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and safety standards.

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
