Job Responsibilities:
Fabrication & Assembly:Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to fabricate and assemble metal components. Cut, shape, and form materials (steel, stainless steel) to the required dimensions and specifications.
Welding:Perform high-quality TIG, ARC welding to join metal components with precision and accuracy. Weld various materials (steel, stainless steel) using appropriate welding methods to meet project requirements.
Material Selection and Preparation:Select the correct materials based on project specifications, ensuring the proper metal type and thickness. Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and aligning them for welding.
Equipment Maintenance:Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition. Perform regular checks, troubleshoot, and report any equipment issues to the supervisor.
Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing welding tasks. Wear the necessary protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work environment.
Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met and completed on time. Provide updates on progress and report any challenges or issues to supervisors.
Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve any welding defects or issues, ensuring minimal rework and maintaining quality standards.
