to perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks in our coal & carbon production plant. The candidate will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and fabricating plant equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform
welding, gas cutting, and fabrication
work for plant machinery, structures, and pipelines.
Carry out
repair and maintenance
of coal & carbon processing equipment.
Read and interpret
engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Operate
welding machines, gas cutters, grinders, and other fabrication tools.
Ensure all welding and cutting work meets
quality standards and safety guidelines.
Assist in installation, modification, and fabrication of new plant components.
Maintain proper care of tools, equipment, and workshop area.
Follow
safety protocols (PPE usage, fire prevention, ventilation, etc.)
during welding and cutting activities.
Report damages, defects, and maintenance requirements to supervisors.
Support the maintenance team in
shutdowns and breakdown activities.
Requirements:
ITI/Diploma/Certification in
Welding / Fabrication / Mechanical Trade.
2-8 years' experience as a
Welder/Cutter
in coal, carbon, steel, or heavy industries.
Knowledge of
arc welding, gas cutting, MIG/TIG welding, and fabrication techniques.
Ability to handle
heavy-duty welding and cutting tasks
under industrial conditions.
Strong understanding of
safety standards in welding and cutting operations.
Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging plant environments.
