Education & Qualification

Basic education (e.g., ITI/Diploma in welding/trade or equivalent) is an advantage. Certification in welding (if available) will be a plus.

Experience

At least 5 years of proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a production or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and welding symbols to understand job requirements and specifications. Prepare, align and clamp components for welding as per layout or work order instructions. Operate welding equipment to join metal parts and structures, ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy. Inspect the finished welds for defects (e.g., porosity, undercut, incomplete fusion) and ensure welds meet required standards and workmanship. Flexibility to work overtime or on shifts when required and adapt to changing workloads.
