Welder

to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components as per fabrication drawings and quality standards. The role requires hands-on experience in welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and ARC, along with a strong understanding of fabrication techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and ARC processes on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Set up and operate welding machines and equipment according to job specifications. Carry out proper joint preparation, tack welding, and final welding. Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and conformance to specifications. Perform grinding, cutting, and finishing operations as needed. Follow safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and fire safety practices. Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with fitters and fabricators to complete assemblies. Report any defects, material shortages, or equipment issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

ITI/Diploma in Welding or equivalent. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a fabrication or metalworking environment. Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physically fit and capable of handling workshop tools and materials. Basic knowledge of metallurgy and welding standards (e.g., AWS, ASME) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified welder. Experience in structural steel or custom metal fabrication.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
