Job Title: Welder

Department: Production / Maintenance

*Location: Hyderabad / Polepally

Reporting To: Production Manager / Factory Supervisor

1. Job Summary

The Welder will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication work as per drawings and instructions, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of production/maintenance jobs in the manufacturing unit.

2. Key Responsibilities

Welding & Fabrication

Perform welding (MIG / TIG / Arc / Gas welding - as applicable) on MS, SS and other metals as per job requirement.
Read and understand engineering drawings, sketches, and work orders.
Cut, shape, and join metal parts using welding machines, gas cutters, grinders, and other tools.
Fabricate structures, frames, supports, tanks, pipe lines, and other components as per design.
Quality & Inspection

Ensure strong, clean, and accurate welds with minimum rework.
Visually inspect welds and finished jobs for defects (cracks, porosity, undercut, etc.).
Follow standard welding procedures and quality standards of the company.
Machine & Tool Handling

Operate welding machines, cutting machines, grinders, and basic hand tools safely.
Perform basic maintenance of welding machines, gas cylinders, cables, clamps, and PPE.
Report any machine breakdowns or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Safety & Housekeeping

Strictly follow safety rules, including use of PPE (helmet, gloves, apron, shoes, goggles, mask).
Ensure safe handling and storage of gas cylinders, regulators, and welding consumables.
Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work area.
Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, helpers, and other shop floor staff to complete jobs on time.
Record daily work completed, material used, and report any issues.
Support production and maintenance teams during breakdowns, shutdowns, and emergency work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
