Key Responsibilities
Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, ARC (SMAW), or gas welding as required
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal parts, jigs, fixtures, and structures
Ensure weld quality meets required standards and specifications
Conduct visual inspections and basic testing of welded joints
Operate cutting equipment (gas cutting, plasma, grinding)
Maintain welding equipment, tools, and consumables
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for timely completion of jobs
Record work completed and report any defects or issues
