Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled

Welder

to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding operations relevant to industrial equipment, particularly components and frames for valve testing machinery. You will be responsible for reading engineering drawings, preparing welding surfaces, performing MIG/TIG/Arc welding, and ensuring high-quality fabrication in accordance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, Arc) on structural and pressure components. Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Assemble metal components and structures used in valve testing equipment. Weld and fabricate frames, fixtures, and pressure vessels according to engineering specifications. Conduct pre- and post-weld inspections to ensure weld quality and adherence to safety standards. Prepare and maintain welding equipment, tools, and materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve welding-related issues. Follow all safety protocols and procedures established by the company.

Qualifications & Requirements

ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or a related field. 2+ years of experience as a welder in industrial machinery or related fabrication. Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and engineering drawings. Familiarity with quality control practices related to welding and fabrication. Knowledge of working with pressure-rated components is an advantage. Certification in welding (e.g., ASME, AWS) is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills

Strong attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Understanding of metallurgy and welding behavior on different materials. Team player with good communication skills. Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Working Conditions

Factory floor / workshop environment. Use of PPE is mandatory (gloves, helmet, welding shield, etc.). May involve standing, lifting, and exposure to heat and sparks.
