Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our manufacturing team specializing in the production of industrial dust collectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating components as per engineering drawings and ensuring structural integrity and accuracy in the final assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Perform MIG, TIG, and arc welding on mild steel and stainless steel components. Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts for dust collector housings, hoppers, ducting, and structural frames. Ensure proper alignment, measurement, and fit-up of parts before and after welding. Operate power tools, welding equipment, grinders, cutting machines, and other fabrication tools. Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of welds to ensure quality and conformance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following safety protocols and PPE usage. Report any equipment malfunctions or material issues to the supervisor. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or Mechanical Engineering. 2+ years of experience in industrial fabrication, preferably in heavy machinery or dust collector manufacturing. Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques. Familiarity with fabrication standards and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy components.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
