? Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to understand welding requirements.
? Prepare metal surfaces by cutting, grinding, and cleaning to ensure proper welds.
? Monitor welding equipment and adjust settings for optimal performance.
? Inspect welded joints for quality and structural integrity; repair or rework as necessary.
? Ensure all welding operations comply with safety standards and company policies.
? Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order.
? Collaborate with production teams to meet schedules and maintain product quality.
? Assist with metal fabrication and finishing tasks related to welding activities.
? Report to the production manager on the assigned tasks.
