We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques. The Welder must be able to interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts and weld according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding process specifications.
Perform welding duties using one or more of the following processes: MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
Inspect welds and ensure that they meet quality and safety standards.
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
Grind and clean welded surfaces.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time.
Perform other fabrication or repair tasks as required.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/certification in welding preferred).
Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction setting.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Knowledge of different types of metals and welding techniques.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a welding environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of welding experience.
Experience with pipe welding or pressure vessel welding (if applicable).
Familiarity with welding inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
