Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication work for cashew processing machinery and plant structures.
Repair and maintain SS (Stainless Steel) and MS (Mild Steel) equipment used in food processing.
Handle arc welding, gas welding, TIG/MIG welding as required.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of conveyors, dryers, boilers, roasters, peeling machines, and other cashew plant equipment.
Read and understand technical drawings and fabrication layouts.
Ensure welding quality meets food industry hygiene and safety standards.
Maintain tools, welding machines, and safety equipment in good condition.
Follow plant safety rules, PPE usage, and 5S standards.
Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
Job Requirements:
ITI / Trade Certificate in Welding or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in welding and fabrication work.
Experience in food processing / cashew industry is an added advantage.
Knowledge of SS welding and hygienic fabrication practices.
Ability to work independently and in shifts if required.
Basic understanding of maintenance safety procedures.
