Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial (or equivalent)
Experience: 5-8 years (Manufacturing/Aerospace sector preferred)
We are looking for a skilled
Welder
with strong expertise in CO?, ARC, and related welding processes. The role involves fabricating, assembling, and inspecting metal components as per aerospace and manufacturing standards while ensuring safety, quality, and precision.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CO?, ARC, and other welding processes to assemble/fabricate components.
Layout, position, and secure parts using precision instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions with accuracy.
Conduct weld inspections (hydrostatic, x-ray, dimensional tolerance).
Develop jigs, fixtures, and templates for alignment.
Adjust flame, amperage, and voltage for optimal results.
Follow safety standards, quality guidelines, and aerospace compliance requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in CO?, ARC, TIG/MIG welding processes.
Strong knowledge of metallurgy, materials, and welding techniques.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Skilled in using precision measurement tools.
Familiarity with weld testing methods.
Attention to detail, safety-conscious, and a strong team player.
