Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding as per job requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment and tools. Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Inspect welds and ensure quality and accuracy. Conduct repair welding and metal finishing as needed. Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper usage and storage. Follow safety procedures to avoid hazards and ensure a clean work environment. Collaborate with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors.

Requirements:

ITI or Diploma in Welding or related field. Proven experience as a welder in industrial or construction settings. Knowledge of various welding methods and metal properties. Ability to work from technical drawings and instructions. Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination. Physical stamina and strength to work in demanding environments. Understanding of safety standards and procedures.
